New KCC to start a camel, goat milk line in Nanyuki
New KCC has announced plans to open a goat and camel milk production line in the latest of its expansion drive.
This new line of business will be undertaken at New KCC’s Nanyuki plant, and is expected to benefit farmers, owing to the high demand for the commodity.
Goat and camel milk is highly sought by Kenyans who are keen on diet owing to its high nutritional value, with a litre retailing at an average of Sh200.
This will be the first time in Kenya that a major processor will be venturing into goat and camel milk production on a large scale. – Business Daily, 21.01.2020
