First Lady Rachel Ruto Revives School Milk Programme “Feed One End Hunger”

First lady Rachel Ruto is championing the reintroduction of a national school milk programme, through the “Feed One End Hunger Initiative”.
On 13th March, in collaboration with her Excellency, we launched the pilot phase of the programme at Testai Primary School in Nakuru County. Following this, she engaged with stakeholders from the Dairy Sector including the Kenya Dairy Board and milk processors, to discuss the nationwide roll-out.
This initiative aims to provide essential nutritional support to school children, by ensuring each student receives a packet of milk twice a week. It also aligns with the government’s policy of achieving 100 % enrolment in schools.
As New KCC, we are committed to ensuring a steady supply of milk to school, ensuring every child has access to the nutrition they need for a brighter, healthier future.
